The Euro Alliance of Payment Schemes (EAPS) is a joint initiative by European payment schemes, enabling European cardholders and retailers to make card payments and cash withdrawals with payment cards across Europe's national boundaries. The objective of the EAPS is to enable participating schemes to offer their member banks a new alternative for pan-European card payments.
