The table below shows the areas where there were no free cash machines in November 2006 but which were identified as priority target areas for new free machines if suitable sites could be found.
These are formed from one or more Super Output Areas (SOAs), and each area is marked in either red or orange depending on whether there is also a Post Office within it. Each Super Output Area has around 1,500 residents and as such may be quite large in rural areas but considerably smaller in urban locations.
