Applying for LINK Membership

The broad steps involved in becoming a LINK member can be summarised as follows:-

1. Prospective members are required to sign a standard form of Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA) before engaging in any detailed discussions with LINK.

2. A brief outline of the business proposals that would involve Membership of LINK must be provided.

3. Financial institutions and other companies must enter an Agreement for Participation in the LINK Network. This Agreement establishes the rights and obligations for participation in the Network and binds Members to LINK's Operating Rules.

4. There are fees associated with LINK network membership, and the level of these fees depends upon the method of connection and number of ATMs deployed, or the level of participation in the Scheme. Institutions wishing to join the LINK network must pay a joining fee, monthly membership fee and initial connection fee.
