Connections

Connection can be direct to the central LINK switch or via a Certified Service Bureau (CSB). Each of the 26 directly-connected members has its ATMs connected to its own system which is in turn connected to the LINK central switch.

The remainder have their ATMs connected to one of the CSBs, which are in turn connected to the LINK switch.

One of the CSBs, Avantra, is a subsidiary of LINK. Avantra provides a full ATM outsourcing service including ATM operating, authorisation and card issuing for Independent ATM Deployers and Financial Institutions.
