LINK Interchange Network Ltd. - Appointment of first,
independent, non-executive Chairman.
(London, 3 November 2003;)
LINK Interchange Network Limited, the company that operates
the UK’s cash machine network has announced the appointment
of Peter Presland as its independent, non-executive Chairman.
The appointment was approved at a meeting of the Company’s
Board on the 22nd October.
Mr. Presland, 53, who was previously Group Chief Executive
of software provider Rebus Group and insurance broker CE
Heath, will be the first independent Chairman of LINK and
his appointment reflects the growing diversity of the company’s
interests and desire to ensure that the best governance practice
is followed. Mr. Presland currently holds non-executive directorships
with a number of other companies.
